Workshop Objectives:
- Learn why respect is about me, not them
- Realize the personal and organizational cost of disrespectful
behaviors
- Recognize how stereotypes, myths and prejudgments filter our new
information and experiences
- Identify and address the barriers to respectful communication
- Discover the relationship skills necessary for
encouraging a diverse workplace
- Learn how to consistently act on knowledge vs. (often
incorrect) beliefs
- Identify strategies for strengthening inclusion-related
“emotional intelligence”
- Learn why self-esteem is essential
to consistently respect others
- Develop a “tool kit” for displacing disrespectful habits and
behaviors
